The response did not satisfy Asplundh who began threatening to report the woman to Instagram.

It is more than 20 years since I discovered in my 50s that I have a copy of the gene, ApoE4, that has been linked to a raised risk of Alzheimer's. It's the same gene that the actor Chris Hemsworth carries, although he has two copies, one from each of his parents - he learned this in 2022 after having tests for a documentary series he was making about longevity. Now comes news of a major study that has found that almost everyone who has two copies of this gene goes on to develop early signs of Alzheimer's. Researchers at the Sant Pau Research Institute in Barcelona looked at data from 10,000 people and 3,000 brain donors and found that the majority of those with two copies showed signs of Alzheimer's by the time they reached the age of 55. The researchers estimate that around 2 per cent of people have this gene profile.

Flight attendants had to break up a fight between two men on a long-haul flight that started after one sat in the other's seat because he wanted to get away from another passenger's incessant coughing. The row started a few hours into the journey from Taiwan to San Francisco when one of the men was upset about a passenger next to him constantly coughing. McIntyre was found with gunshot wounds to the head and neck according to officials. A 14-year-old girl has since been arrested and charged in connection.

A Texas man appeared on Antiques Roadshow in 2012 with a painting that had been in his family for generations - and was shocked when it became the most expensive painting ever appraised on the show. A mother who splurged $400 on her child's birthday party was left furious after none of the invited guests showed up - including family members. Pararescuemen with the US Air Force's 920th Rescue Wing lifted a passenger, who was in 'critical' condition, from the deck of the 1,000ft Carnival Venezia on May 4. Dramatic footage shows how two helicopters approached the ship to execute the extraction before the rescuers were hoisted down and immediately began preparing the cruise traveler. The unnamed patient and his mother were then hauled up into the helicopter, where he received treatment while en route to a hospital in the US. His current condition remains unknown.

The winner of the Orange County marathon in California was disqualified for accepting water during the race. Esteban Prado's father noticed his son was thirsty and decided to bike alongside him to hand him water. However, by accepting the water from his dad, Prado, 24, unknowingly participated in what is known as 'unauthorized assistance' as marathon runners are only allowed to get water from the hydration stations along the route.

A tear-jerking video of the 'saddest' pit bull in the shelter finding his forever home has gone viral on social media. TikTok user Katie Kramer (@therealslimkatieeeee), a nurse and influencer, and her husband, Cole, drove to a shelter in Phoenix, Arizona, with the intent of giving a dog a new and loving home. The TikTok video showed a dog behind bars in a shelter, pouting and staring off into into the distance.

The three-minute clip shows an agitated Nature Boy getting into a heated verbal exchange with the manager at Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza before another customer stepped in and physically threatened the 75-year-old. During the exchange, Flair referred to the manager as 'Nicholas D***head' and called him a 'dips***' in front of his employees while standing on opposite sides of the bar.
